Parents and Families 玩 an important role in the 皇冠足彩 community and experience. While students are living and learning in 石灰石, the 皇冠足彩父母协会 works to connect parents and families, 支持皇冠足彩员工, 给学生提供一点乐趣!

The 皇冠足彩父母协会 works to engage with fellow parents, 支持学校, participate in life in 石灰石 (even from away), and harness the collective time and talent of 皇冠足彩 families. The Association also represents the interests of parents to the Board, develops awareness of 皇冠足彩 in our communities, and promotes student enrichment through recreational activities.

Here are some of the ways the Parents协会 gives back:

第四条会议: Semi-annual general meetings are held on Parent's weekends at 皇冠足彩 (currently in 9月tember and March. 见校历). The meetings will be run by the 总统 or designee and all parents are encouraged to attend. Officers/Chairs will be introduced and highlights of any minutes since the last general meeting will be presented. A quorum of the membership will consist of those parents at the meeting. All decisions will be made by simple majority vote. Officers may hold meetings as necessary at their discretion during the year. The 秘书 (or designee) will submit the minutes for publication to the 皇冠足彩 community.

总统: Attend 皇冠足彩校董会 Quarterly meetings, 与执行主任密切合作, 做家长和学校之间的联络人, represent the PA to the Executive Director and the 校董会, 领导皇冠足彩PA会议, disseminate information regarding opportunities to 支持学校 to the parent body directly or via the secretary.

副总统: Step in with the absence of the 总统, serve on the Board of Trustee Committee(s) as the parent representative, be a strong presence on the 执行委员会.

财务主管:管理PA支票账户, track donations to the 皇冠足彩 Foundation PA restricted funds, keep the PA informed of financial status of both funds.

秘书: Take notes at all PA meetings and publish online, communicate effectively all PA business to the parent body, and publish any information from the 执行委员会 to the parents.

这些军官, together with other committee chairs as well as representatives of Residential Life and 皇冠足彩 Administration will form the EC. Other chairs will be appointed by the EC on an as needed basis. A quorum of the EC shall consist of 3 members, one of whom must be the 总统 or 副总统. 所有的决定都将由多数人投票决定.

第六条选举: All members of the 皇冠足彩PA are eligible to stand for election to the EC except those receiving financial or contractual benefits from 皇冠足彩. The current EC will publish a slate of nominees to be elected, but additional nominations may be made at the meeting. The EC will be elected by the majority vote of those present at a general meeting and will serve for two years EC members can be re-elected to one subsequent term. Any EC member resigning mid-term will be replaced by the remaining EC until the next election.
